PPG Automotive Paint also comes with a Refinish Guarantee* for as long as you own your car. This means that if the paint on any repaired panel peels or cracks, our paint manufacturer will pay the cost to repaint it. One thing to note is that this warranty does not apply to environmental factors such as tree sap or acid rain or body parts that are masked (taped off) instead of being removed from the vehicle as requested by either the customer or the insurance company.

Things to know before having your damaged vehicle repaired:

• You, as the vehicle owner, can choose the body shop you want to repair your vehicle. You do not have to choose a shop on your insurance company’s “preferred list”. Please see Auto Accident Help for more info.
• DBA Auto Body stands behind every repair and warranties both paint and body work. Replaced Parts are warranted by the manufacturer; usually 1 year.
• If you car has over 20,000 miles on it, Massachusetts State Law allows your insurance company to use aftermarket parts on your car. We will take the extra time to try and negotiate with your insurance company to get OEM parts for your vehicle. Not all auto body shops will do this.

* Please Note: Our Refinish guarantee requires all door mouldings, wheel mouldings, step pads, roof racks, door handles, etc. to be removed from the vehicle prior to painting. There is no paint adhesion warranty near masked or taped body parts or mouldings. In addition, there is no refinish warranty on repaired rusted areas since rust tends to recur. Most body shops do not warranty rust repair work.
